Ranking On Top with Search Engines

Ranking on top with Search Engines such as Google , Yahoo and MSN is a mystery to some and an easy task to some. Today  I will discuss some niche ideas that can help your site to be rank on top of the Google, Yahoo, MSN and other major search engines.

1. Page Title:

The simple and most important work is to set up the page title using HTML Meta tags. You can find thousands of ways to do it. But the following three tags are used by the most webmasters.

                        1) Key Words – up to 23 words.
                        2) Company/Site Name.
                        3) Company/Site description.
2. Link Popularity :

The overall link of you site is calculated by the number of links from any and all sites across the web – both link quality and quantity. Simplest and easiest way to do is to do social book marking and directory submitting.

3. Anchor Text of the Inbound Link:

By looking at the anchor text one should be able to tell about your website. It’s the threshold of your website and needs to be bold and right to the point.

 4. Linking pager within the website:

Linking one web page to another internal page is very crucial. It also shows the search engines how important all the web pages are.

5. Age of the web site:

A common mistake is to think about the date of registration of the domain. And in reality it is the date the site was indexed for the first time by the search engines

6. Relevant Inbound Links to the Site:

Make sure that all the inbound links are related to the landing page of your site. If you say “orange” and the visitors need to find something about “orange” in the landing page.

7. Using keywords in Body Text:

Use HTML and visible and targeted search terms on your body. You should have around 5%-6% keyword density. It means that if you write about “orange” then you should have the word “orange” 5 or 6 times in every 100 words. Please make sure that the article if fluent and not just stack of key words.
8. Rate of New Inbound Links to the Site:

Too much of every thing is not good. Make sure you don’t over do anything. Work on your web site at a continuous basis. Do not work and then have a dead stop. If you have 100 article to submit then do not submit them in one day rather spread them into 10 days. Search engines love to find a site that is adding fresh content as a regular basis.
