Page Rank : Thing that you need to know

What is page rank:
PageRank is a topic, which is very much familiar all the web users, from beginners to the search engine optimization (SEO) experts. It is a mathematical formula that consists of link analysis algorithm, which gives numerical importance to all the elements of the hyperlinked set of documents.
Pagerank was found and developed by Larry page and Sergey Brin at Stanford University. PageRank™ is a system of ranking web pages. The value of PageRank of a page reveals the possibility that the random web user will reach that page by clicking on a link. A high Page Rank page will usually rank higher in Google's search results, and better results means more organic traffic to your website.
How web sites earned page rank:
Google Describes PageRank:
“PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important”.”
In other words, PageRank is a measure of the relative importance of a Web page on the Internet used by Google. The numbers rank number between 0 and 10. Higher the number, better the Pagerank. The PageRank at Google is genuine; it is an automated method, which makes very difficult to temper the PageRank results. Since Google does not sell PageRank, no any people can purchase a superior PageRank. The search option in Google is an honest, objective, and simple way to find good-quality websites with data related to your search. Rather than considering direct links, PageRank understands a link from Page A to Page B as a vote for Page B by Page A. PageRank then reviews the importance of a page by the number of votes it obtains. In calculating the PageRank, the search engine Google also considers the content of the page. Instead of mere superficial scanning of the text page, Google technology considers the complete content of a web page, which include fonts, subdivisions, and the exact position of every word.
Usually PageRank is determined for each individual Web page, as every page on the website has a different PR. More then likely the home page has the highest PR since it has the most sites linking to it. All other individual web pages has own and different Google PageRank.
While it is argued that PageRank is no longer as important as it once was, it still plays an important part of Google's algorithm that determines where in the search engine results a certain page is displayed for a given query. You can easily increase your PageRank by increasing the number of links to your website. Remember, quality links from quality websites with high PageRank and the same theme as yours influence PageRank the most.
